This based on the original 1979 KC hit.
I'm not much of a keyboard player but i'm loving the learning and done these on a Yamaha T5.
Hopefully it is what your looking for.

If it's not too much to ask, you have the sheet for this song

buzby4

Hi Luis, I'm not 100% sure i understand your question being a newbie as there are so many things the "sheet" could be as i know there are tons of things that can be added with a file. First off i'm not what you would call a real musician perse, my forte is vocals (or at least used to be) and music on whatever instrument i tinker with is always an "ear" type thing. I just do what i can as i love music to play or listen and always have.
That said, i am more than happy to provide additional info if i have what you need or can obtain it.

If it's simply the style to song details in this particular songstyle the order i used is as follows:

Intro 1 = Hi hat count in like original for the spoken part.
Main A = 1st & 2nd verse/chorus
Intro 3 (small instrumental break
Main C = Strong ending chorus
Ending = Add lib fade out

The midi was added to hopefully simplify understanding the order as i have found everyone seems to set up thier files differently for a specific reason and it can sometimes be difficult to figure the order or length of some style parts.

Anyhow thats pretty much all i did with this and recorded in C Key following how the original song sounds to me.
If you need different info or even something completely different please let me know. I'll try to oblige.

BTW, thanks all for the likes & thanks, very encouraging. Criticism also accepted to steer me on the right path. Any advice on how to set up these files etc always appreciated as i am very much stuck with my "L" plates for now.
:)
