On all Tyros and on all other PSR or Genos.
I wonder if there is a intressed of how to program your MIDI to load instrument vocies  automatecly for your own playing on the keyboard.

Tommy, this will only work when the midi file was created on the same make and model keyboard. Otherwise, I do not know of a method of doing what you are asking. If the midi has been created on the same make and model keyboard, the midi file will automatically fire up the style and voices used to create the midi.

Hi Tommy,

most users use Registrations to change the Keyboard Voices manually.

But there is one possibility to let the MIDI file switch the Keyboard Voices automatically for you:

• Load the MIDI file.
• Make the desired Keyboard Voice settings (RIGHT and LEFT Parts).
• Press SONG STOP button, to be sure that the MIDI file is a the beginning.
• Go to SETUP page in SONG CREATOR.
• Make an additional check mark at the check box "KEYBOARD VOICE".
• Press "Execute" (on Tyros and older PSR-S models) or "Apply" (on PSR-Sx70 models), to write the actual Keyboard Voice settings into the MIDI file.
• Save the file.
• If needed, you can also write additional Keyboard Voice settings into the file. To do so, PAUSE the file at a later position, make new Voice settings and write the settings into the file as described before.
• Don't forget to save the file finally.

Now, when you let the MIDI file play, your Keyboard Voice settings will change automatically. :)

One little addition:

To delete those Keyboard Voice Events completely from a MIDI file, the easiest way is to use PSRUTI software program (click "Extras ---> Delete Keyboard Events" there).

(Directly at the keyboard this could be a little "confusing" ... ;) )
