visited a friend who has a genos he needed an update. Anyway i loaded his usb as he isnt very proficient and found that a lot of style and rgt were not working in fact it stalled the keyboard.
Did a reset then put one of my Usbs in and the same thing happened.
Came home put the Usb into computer and found some files looked like this.

They looked like they were in chinese, square squiggles symbols totally corrupt any ideas ?

Yeah, that usually means the USB stick is corrupted; yes I've seen it before. That's why I backup every other month, and then copy everything to a new usb stick every 2-3 years (last time I barely made it in time; one of my folders on my main USB had a recursive error; the entire folder was reading as 100gb but in fact it was only supposed to be abut 10mb... luckily, my 2 month earlier backup on my pc had that exact same folder unchanged and that was the only thing I needed to repair before transferring everything to a new USB)

Cheers buddy, thats exactly what it was saying, looked like chinese symbols strangly it affected all my edited styles
