Hi
Will there be any upgrades for Genos 2 from Santa Yamaha this year.
Not much has happened in a year since purchasing.
Could be a load for presets for the DX7 and even a free coffee dispenser with Yamaha in silver writing on the side.
We will probably get a free registration copy of the Tremeloes "Silence is Golden" :o :o :o
Hi John,
A small Christmas present is the "Standard Styles Collection for Genos2": :)

In addition, after you have registered your Genos2 on the Yamaha Europe site, you can also download the new Genos2 Middle Eastern Pack there. However, if you install all 7 included .cpf files, this pack alone takes up 1409 MB of the total available 3072 MB of Expansion Wave Memory. So a complete installation is probably only an option for oriental musicians.
Here is some information about the contents of the Genos2 Middle Eastern Pack:

I was thinking along the lines of us baby boomers not "ying tong tickle my toe" ;D ;D
It would be great to have some 60's 70's and 80's packs. Plus DX multi-packs. All possible for such a pretty penny that the Genos 2 costs. Yamaha has whisky in the Jar.
Why is it even on a cruise last week the music was either 30's to 50's or this modern useless moo moo pepper piggy rubbish.
It was a Fred Olsen cruise on the Borealis and baby Boomers are always left out, No Beatles, No Stones, Beach Boys, Eagles, Dire Straits, Chicago's or Santana's or Soul, even Tamla Ska and Reggae.
It seems i am one of the few who lives in an alternate universe but the late 60's and 70's was the best of all times when music was so much fun and the girls figures were a perfect 10. Not a bun head or Tattoo in sight. Or the dreaded Essex accent.
All the best
John
Ps Fred Olsen Cruises are great for the peace and quiet and staff . Steer clear of mega ships as the standards drop, despite the music being biased against baby boomers.
The only real trouble was storm Bert!!!! out of Portsmouth
