Title: CVP 309 Sounds
Post by: austinmediamond on Jun 11, 2024, 10:27 PM
Hi there! This is my first post, so apologies if I mess up on the protocol somehow. :)

I have a Yamaha CVP-309. I have two questions:

a) Is it possible to add more sounds into the CVP-309 itself? And,

b) Is there any way to do a guitar strumming pattern? For example, like in these two videos:

Thank you very much. :)

If by sounds you mean voice samples, then no, I don't believe you can add voice samples on your CVP. You can highly customize the voice samples already there, but not add new ones.

b) Is there any way to do a guitar strumming pattern?

Simple strumming is possible with the Harmony type "Strum".

Another option is to search for suitable guitar tracks in the styles.

And it is also possible to program your own style with a guitar track, but this requires advanced skills and experience.

Multi pads with strumming patterns would also be an option, but multi pads don't seem to be available on your device.
