Title: USB Drives
Post by: Arpeggio on Nov 26, 2023, 11:40 AM
I am new to Genos and am waiting for delivery of a Genos 2.

I have a question about the USB drives.

Can data be copied from one USB drive to another whilst they are plugged in to the Genos or can you only add data to a drive via a computer?
I was thinking about using a USB drive in the underside port of the Genos to store all data and would probably need to add to it from time to time.

Thanks

There are three USB Ports on Geno and Genos2. I use a 64Gb stick in the underside of my keyboard that stays in there and acts like a hard drive would. This can be removed from time to time to back up to computer as you add new content. The other two ports can be used to copy content from one to the other with no problem.

Oh wow I never realized the USB port on the back of the keyboard (labeled "to device") could be used as a port!

On the bottom of keyboard. Turn keyboard over and you will see a small hatch secured by a screw.
