Title: Question >> Re-voicing Using Midi Player
Post by: jeep4446 on Feb 18, 2023, 11:07 AM
Hi, I just got a Psr s770 and wanted to do some re-voicing , I've been using Midi Player to do the voice changes to suit other keyboards . I don't see the PSR 970 or 770 listed under "target instrument"  , what am I missing here ?  I Downloaded the two midi player files as instructed to do and combined them into the midi player folder  .  Did I miss an update on Midi Player ?  I found it to be a great tool , would another software be available to voice change on the PSR 970/ 770 ??  If not could I choose another " target instrument"   in midi player  that would be good to voice my Psr 770 ??   Thanks

Hi Jeep4446,

Midi Player is no longer updated since a few years.
You could try to use 'MixMaster' for voice changes in a midi file.
https://psrtutorial.com/MB/volbragt.html
Under the tab MixMaster you can download version v22r2.
MixMaster is regularly updated, and new keyboards can be added by the user himself.
It has no automatic re-voicing, but manually everything can be changed (re-voiced).

Regards
Etienne
