Title: Small MIDI controller to add faders for part levels
Post by: tson on Apr 04, 2019, 08:14 PM
I am looking for small MIDI controller to add faders for part levels.  Basically, to recreate the faders similar to the Genos or Tyros.  On the PSR, pushing the little buttons below the parts (or the two-step process of selecting the part and then turning the data wheel) is not efficient.

I would love a recommendation based on actual use, not someone's theory, or "I think this will work, but I don't know since I don't own a keyboard...". Additionally, please include a step by step on how you set it up to work with the PSR.  Thanks.

Hi

Behringer X-Touch Compact

Alternatively if you have an IPAD

There are a few APP's that work very well.

TouchOSC &
MIDI Designer Pro

Couple of screen shots below.  The only thing you need to do is edit the MIDI template on the keyboard so that the Input and Output channels are the same. (Very Easy)
