Style Loading Error

Hey there, everyone. I tried loading Brian Miles' conversions into my PSR E473 and it worked fine until I got to the Ballroom and Latin styles. They won't load properly and I always get ERROR!. However, I tried loading an Entertainer style and it worked. My guess is that it's due to its respective sizes (the Entertainer one is maybe 38 kb after unzip and the Latin ones are 1 kb each). I might be wrong, but that's my best theory as of now. How can I fix this, and if I can't, are there other files similar to that? Thank you.

Never ever seen a style file having a size of 1 kB. Guess the styles are defensive.

The 1 kb is a defective style. That size clearly indicated that there is nothing there to play.

The smallest style size I can recall seeing is about 16 kb and the style had only a Main A and B parts.

These 3 folders from "Genos1 Styles for PSR-EW400" have a problem indeed:

Latin
44 styles   
Ballroom
41 styles   
Movie&Show
40 styles

Last time these folders have been uploaded/modified was 01/2024 and 02/2024.
Maybe the re-upload was not successful.

So that's why ERROR! keeps popping every time I load the defective styles. I even thought it was my pen drive malfunctioning.

It's such a shame that these styles are defective. Everything I wanted to load on my keyboard come from those folders. Guess I have to wait for a while for an update, if there is any. Still, props to the creator for having accomplished this.

I downloaded and saved the Old PSRTutorial website (Except for Members only section) onto a USD stick. 

I checked Brian Miles style page and the LATIN 44 styles are all 1kb in size. Brian's upload was never correct.

I have searched older internet archives and it seems that Drake is right and the very first upload was not made properly for those newer folders.

Milomiles is the uploader and it's been a couple of months he visited the forum.
I hope he is well with his health.
Maybe he will see the post or someone could send him a message to re-upload the files.

I've reached out to Brian Miles regarding this issue via email and am awaiting his response.
Hopefully, he will provide updated/working styles.
Once he does, I'll update the Brian Miles style links accordingly.

Quick Update

I've just heard back from Brian Miles.
He kindly responded and mentioned that he'll try to repair the damaged files as soon as he's able.

Once I receive the updated files, I'll revise the download links on the website accordingly.
