Hello there,

I've just bought Shure dynamic headset with standard TR connection and plugged it in my sx900 and volume is far too low...
I had hand hold microphone before and it was no issue with it with gain knob on 1 hour at the back panel and volume at 100 in the mixer.

I turned gain all the way on the back panel and tried to enter volume to 125 in Meny - Mic Setting but with every new registration it`s back on 100....
Meny Mixer settings on page 2 give me same result...
I even memorized new user mic setting with volume 125, restarted the keyboard, went to meny , mic setting again... now User setting 125  is on display but volume is back on 100 !!!

Now the question:
How to memorize mic level in the general system at 125 permanently, without going thru ALL songs and registrations and memorize everything manually for each single registration and song???

Regards/ Dario

I have Shure WH20QTR,
its sensitivity is at -68dbv , so probably that's the problem...

I have been using a Shure WH20QTR (1/4 inch plug) wired headset for years. I works great with my new SX920 and with previous keyboard the PSR-S950.

I don't use a mixer with the mic or registrations to get it set correctly. I export the keyboard sound directly to my Maui 5 PA system.

I have posted on my YouTube channel about 350 video of me using the mic singing and playing live with it.

Hello,

To adjust your WH20QTR, leave your microphone at 100, take a pair of headphones to avoid interference from external amplification and sing normally into your microphone while increasing the gain to the point where the red light lights up...

With this microphone, the general volume of the keyboard is at 80% with the microphone gain at maximum, style at 100, microphone at 100 ... the result also depends on the power of your voice!

I have this microphone and have reconnected it to write this reply with the settings for its use.

The vocal part and its harmoniser require very personalised settings for a good result!
