saving voices

Hi everyone.  Is there anyway to save all four voices together like you can on the Korg, and saving them without using registrations. I think the answer will be no. but has anyone found a way round it.

I assume from your previous posts, that you have Genos and in this case, the answer is yes: You can save all four voices (together with their settings) as OTS [1-4] into the style of your choice.

You *would* use a registration for that. But to get all 4, including LH, you do have to include the style in the registration.

You can use a 'trick' where you link the registration to a temporary copy of a(ny) style, then delete the style file after, so that the registration can't find it. It would still set the 4 voices/effects though.

Hi,thanks so much for your input  the voices I like are on the Registrations I have bought. They fill all ten registration buttons, am I right that you are saying memorize the four voice select to the four one touch setting buttons and save the OTS I could then have different folders for piano, guitar ext. couldn't I.
. I hadn't thought of doing it that way. Thanks so much, I will have a try at doing that.

and yes I do have the Genos 1.I was thinking about going to the two but my piano shop closed down, so it's hard to find one to listen to. and I don't know whether the jump is worth it.

You can save your 4 OTS Voices as RGT (Registration)
JUST Leave Style box Not Ticked so you can then use these with any style.

I have a number of my faviourate Voice RGT's to use with any style.

If you don't tick the style box, the LH voice selection won't be saved. You need to use the trick I mentioned to let you tick the style, but stop it actually being linked to a real style file.
