Hi
Has anyone succesfully created a .midnam file to be used in ProTools to connect it with a PSR SX920?

As a guess, I think more people use Cakewalk or Cubase (due to the Steinberg connection) than Pro Tools on this Forum.  If I'm wrong and Pro Tools is the number 1 then you should expect an avalanche of responses to your question.

This article states that Yamaha do not provide midnam files for Pro Tools which I'm sure you already know. But it does explain the installation process for Windows and Mac once you have the file and how-to set-up Pro Tools.
Yamaha also suggest trying third parties for the file,  which again you probably know.

How would I deal with this if there are no useable responses here?
First, I would post the request on a Pro Tools Forum and/ or contact Pro Tools product support also stating the OS I use.
Second,  I would use one of the AI tools like Chat GPT to see if that helps.
