That thing you do - in an easy listening style

Those of you who saw and remember the 1996 movie THAT THING YOU DO which was directed and written by Tom Hanks might recall that in the plot the title song was intended to be a slow ballad.  But when the new drummer joined the band he was so amped up at a musical competition that he just sped it up to a rock tempo.  And so the song became a hit.

Over the years when I've played the song I usually use a rock style for it.  But recently I opted for a style that I particularly like called Forever and Ever.  This sort of splits the difference between rock and ballad and presents the song as an easy listening pop tune.
