Dear all,
Has anyone done that in Powerpoint?

There are How TO videos on YouTube but no, I have not seen a Power Point done.

If you are trying to learn how then start by first learning how to change an existing style to something new. Learn how to COPY and PASTE parts from one style into another style. Then learn to adjust the Part voices in the Pasted part to match the voices in the style and adjust the Volume of the voices to match.

I started years ago by changing out BREAKS and ENDINGS that I wanted in my styles and saved them as Custom Styles.

I remember the first style I tweaked. I found a style on my old PSR 2000 (back in 2004) keyboard perfect for playing the song KING OF THE ROAD. But the BREAK had 2 Bump, Bumps by the drummer BUT the song uses only one. I went through my other styles until I found one with just 1 Bump and ended. I think it may have even been an Ending that I used. I copied it into the Main D section and matched the instruments it had in it to the style I was using.

I still use that style at gigs.

Years later after learning more I added a new intro I found to the style from a Jazz style.

Trying to learn to make a complete NEW style from scratch is too time consuming and you will just wind up giving up in frustration. There is a lot to learn and to memorize where that information is on the screens. You flip back and forth through the screens but with this new SX920 I am now using with its new touch screen, Yamaha has made it a lot easier.

Dear Drake,

Everything about your rendition is so classic! The Lone Ranger would love to meet you. Would be his greatest moment.

Can you tell what mic are you using? I need a good handsfree mic.

Kind regards,

I use the WH20 headset with a 1/4 plug and post songs online about once a week. All of the recordings are made using the WH20 mic and the keyboard's built in recorder. My experience with the mic is it works perfectly for recording and great for my live gigs. The mic is wired to the keyboard and I use an additional 6 foot extension cable.

This site offers the mic with the 1/4" plug that I use.

You can also call them and make sure they have it in stock and that it has the 1/4" plug.

The extension cable does not come with the mic purchase, you can get one from Walmart.

The Sure WH 20 picks up my vocal every time, it never drops out. The VH2 backup vocals are there in the recordings you can hear for yourself; they are never an issue for dropping out either.

It's just a matter of balancing the music coming out the keyboard to the volume of your vocals.  I have the keyboard's MASTER style volume set at 70 percent (not the 100 default).

Dear Drake,

Thank you. I'll get this because the mic with a stand on often gets some feedback going.

Kind regards,
