Can t load mp3 files which had on T 5 before.

Hi friends ., at last I am owner of Genos and there s the brain storm starts again. I had a lot of mp3 music used in brakes on my T5 before. I made a copy to my PC before selling it. Now try to install em to Genos but it doesn t work. Any suggestions maybe it was  discussed before here on psrtutorial. Thanks !!!!!

"It doesn't work" isn't very helpful in determining the problem.

What procedure are you following, and what error do you get?

Hi again !
I have saved all info from my exT5 on PC and its in file named_TYROS5HDD_
There I have  maps where I ve loaded a lot of mp3 audio music and I was playing it from my Tyros and made playlists too.
Now I am trying to reload it to my Genos , I copy map with one band music to USB stick put it in Genos and try to find this map --nowhere.
Try to load via USB stick separate mp3 songs --again the same.
What could be a problem cause if it worked on T 5 it should work on Genos too ??
What is the right way to do it and save it on Genos ??

Hi Ivars, try again; you've to load an audio file (MP3) with the audio player of the genos on the right side and not a midi file with the midi file player on the left side of your genos; if it's not playig just check the mp3 files on your computer; play it and try to check the type of mp3 (property and details); mp3 must be stero, 44 100 Khz and 320kbite/s); perhaps that can help you, all te best Patrick

When loading songs, there's a Midi/Audio switch at the top of the screen. Make sure it's on Audio.

By the way, what are "maps"?

I can't really understand what you're doing exactly. But perhaps your mp3 files are still in some kind of archive format, such as zip. If that's the case, you'll need to unzip the files first so they're actually mp3 files again.

t was so simple !!
I was bit in a hurry , tomorrow  is my first gig with Genos and I had to program my reg.memory with playable songs , didn t had time to go through manual !!
