Can you list the current Yamaha Arrangers in order of value from the Genos 2.... Not looking for the exact price but a list of where they stand from the top down

Well, I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but here's at least a partial list of current models based on my understanding -- keeping in mind that it is subject to change and that it may vary based on what models are sold and available in your part of the world.  I'm in the USA.

From most expensive and elaborate to least expensive and elaborate...

Genos 2
PSR-SX920
PSR-SX720
PSR-SX600
PSR-EW425
PSR-E473
PSR-E383
PSR-E283

There are other models that kind of go "sideways" from the list, but offer features like an 88-key piano-style weighted keyboard, like the DGX-670. Price-wise, the DGX-670 is on par with the PSR-SX600 (approximately), but while offering the 88-key weighted keyboard, it may not offer as many arranger functions -- but honestly, I have not taken a close look at either keyboard.  There is also the basic EZ-310, which has lighted keys and is geared toward beginners.

There are also models based on some of these on the list, but have styles and sounds geared to specific types of music, like the PSR-A5000 for multiple styles of music around the world, and the PSR-I500 for Indian music.  The PSR-A5000 is based on one of the mid-range arrangers (like the PSR-SX700 or SX900 series -- not sure which one), while the PSR-I500 is based on, I believe, the PSR-E463 -- a lower cost keyboard that is the predecessor to the PSR-E473.

There may also be less expensive piano-style keyboards with few or no arranger functions, and the most basic of these do not have weighted keys.

Of course, if you get into the Yamaha synthesizers, like the Montage M or MODX+ series of keyboards, that's a whole other discussion!

I'm sure other people here can add models I may have left out.  Hope this helps!

Depends how you define arranger, but if you list by price, you have to put the Clavinovas CVP series at the top, rather than Genos. That would be  - in price order, - CVP 909GP, CVP909, CVP905, CVP 901. And I would definitely include the DGX, which as you have said prices around the same as a SX600. Yes it's not very portable, and may be missing some functions compared to a Genos, but it's arguably the best value arranger available.
Although the price of these these keyboards I have added might be very influenced by their size, packaging and piano capapability, they nonetheless still have very sophisticated overall arranger capability, much more so than many of the lower priced offerings. And they have real quality sound. The missing functions are not that noticeable to most people so I would definitely call them arrangers.

Hi Ron,

This will give you a good list of what's available, and how they compare with each other. Pick out the ones that fit what you need then just check out their prices. They will vary from place to place anyway, so price from wherever suits for your needs.
I found the list on another forum and remembered your post, thought it might suit.
