Bonjour,

Hi there Cleo. As this is an English language forum please post in English. Thank you.

Summarising your question: "I have a Yamaha CVP 709 and my Wi-Fi has stopped working".

There a number of possibilities...

1. Turn off Bluetooth on your iPad/phone
2. Reduce the number of devices using your access point (router)
3. In the Reference Manual check the instructions for "Initialise". This will reset to factory settings, and then re-do your connection.

Check the Yamaha CVP-709 Connection Manual for a comprehensive checklist -

Hello,

For some time now, I've been unable to connect my CVP 709 to my internet box's Wi-Fi. It worked for several years without any problems. The box is detected by the CVP, but the connection fails. I've tried resetting it several times, without success.
Thank you for your help.

Hmm... There *is* a possibility the memory has become corrupted by lack of deallocating memory(not saved user files, I mean the CVP's persistent RAM); on most Yamaha instruments you should clear the memory (again, *not* user drive, but the RAM) every 6 months or so, or weird things can occur.

To do this, simply turn off your CVP, hold the highest (rightmost) C note, and while holding that turn on the instrument and keep the key held until you see "Init" or "Initializing" on your screen. After it's booted up, it *will* reset tuning, chord recognition, split points, etc, but see if you can connect to wifi after that. As a side note, any registrations you make while memory is in this corrupted state, the registrations can bring *back* the corrupted state (I found this out the hard way, and ended up recreating most of a bank from 'fresh' memory states)

Incidentally, same thing applies to your router; which is why you should *also* reboot your router.
If nothing works, then something may have failed on your CVP, unfortunately.

Bonne chance,

Mark
