Songbook PRO midi setup

I just installed the paid version of songbook Pro (not +) on my Android phone. I was able to download 1200 songs from my computer (running Linux) to the songbook Pro (SBP) app. I am in the process of trying get SBP to automatically change my registrations when I select a song from the SBP app. on the phone. The problem I am having is that even with a direct connection from my phone to my PRS s910 the song book app does not detect my keyboard. Is there something that has to be done to the midi settings on the keyboard in order for it to be detected by SBP? The keyboard has been set up to use "Open Text" which I have been successfully been using for over 15 years. The downside of Open Text for me is that if I use the same song in multiple different types of shows, then anytime I make a registration change to a song I'll have to do it a multiple number of times. So the bottom line here is that if any member of this forum is using songbook Pro for their keyboard performances, I would really love to know how they were successful in setting it up for midi.
