A Message From Ray Re Our Beloved Eileen

I also have Eileen's styles in the USB and, tomorrow, when I turn on the keyboard I will always play something for her with one of her styles that she has generously shared with all of us over the years. Rest in peace and listen to us, inspire us... as you have always done.

Eileen was a rock and was an enormous help to everyone.
I will never forget Eileen, a great person and always will help you when you ask and will tell you if you are wrong also.
Condolences to Ray and family.

My thoughts are truly with Eileen's family at this sad time.
Eileen gave me several instrumentals over the years for me to sing to before posting to the forum.
She will be sadly missed.

Short time after I joined the Forum, I found out about an old lady playing keyboards with a deep competence and technical culture.

Therefore, she was VERY YOUNG, an example of positive approach despite her age, so charming and positive.

She was unbelievably available to provide advise and explanations in thousands of topics, always with polite and kind manners.

No doubt we'll miss her so much...

Just for interests sake, Eileen was an active member of the forum for 16 years, during which time she made over 5,000 posts. A true arranger enthusiast when you take into account she was an active member of other keyboard forums, and also ran her own forum.
We have been lucky to have had many exceptional and knowledgeable members who are long time contributors like Eileen, and helped many of us master the arrangers. One of the longest is Gary (travelin easy) who has been an active member for 27 years.

Eileen was a great informative mentor on all the Forums she was a member. I will treasure all the Styles that she has downloaded and all her advice given over many many years. I will miss her contributions.

Hi,
I had the pleasure of meeting Eileen and Ray at a keyboard Cavalcade Festival. They were there for the launch of a Yamaha keyboard (Tyros5 I think).
We had always chatted on the Forums, so meeting up in person was special. Subsequently, I visited them both at their home and had a lovely day of
music (Ray even prepared a nice lunch for us all). I learnt so much from her.
My condolences to Ray and the family. R.I.P. Dear Eileen.
