Song style pack

Bought the 18000 song style pack from psr styles, one of the folders ( popular styles) comes up on my psrsx700 with the message Too many files in folder to execute, all other folders work fine.Has anyone any ideas on how to rectify this?

There is a limit to the amount of styles you can put in ONE folder. so, yes, 18,000 in one folder won't work with any Yamaha keyboard.

I think 500 is the most you can stick in one folder. You are going to need a lot more for folders.

Thanks Drake, I think there are less than 18000 in this folder but alot more than 500, so I will get the computer out and start splitting it up.

I have documented all this related to search behavior, and folder limits in my post in this forum.

 There are a couple options to address your issue.

1. Split up the folder to adhere to the folder limit of 2500 into multiple folders.
2.  Create a new folder with only those that you want to move into it and leave the original as it is.
     You will get the limit number if you try to search for something that is in it but no big deal if you
     just care to do a painful scroll to find what you want.  The songs will be listed in alphabetical order
     so you should be find to select and copy out or play what you want.
