I want to transmit from my DGX-670 in my studio to my deck outside.

Hi @flailman,

The DGX-670's integrated Bluetooth audio adapter is only for receiving from a smartphone/tablet/computer (instead of a cable connection to the AUX IN jack).

In order to transmit the DGX-670's output signal via Bluetooth, an external Bluetooth Transmitter would be required that is connected to the DGX-670's Phones/Output jack.

Please note that such a Bluetooth connection will probably not be suitable for playing the instrument in real time, as in almost all cases the latency (delay time) of a Bluetooth connection is too high.

Best regards,
Chris

Understand about the latency.  Given the weight and bulk of the DGX 670 along with limited wattage speakers, I am just hoping to transmit to another part of the house so folks don't have to traverse a set of stairs to my efforts.  Looking at a cheap transmitter from Sweetwater but thought I would ask the Forum to see what advise I would get.  Where did my post get moved to?

I did buy the Hosa Bluetooth Audio Interface from Sweetwater and it will transmit the audio from my DGX 670 to my Bose speaker from an upstairs bedroom to the outside deck.  Latency as predicted to too much to use as anything other than an extended speaker to another location.  Given the DGX is basically NOT portable, this solves the problem of letting folks elsewhere hear what you are outputting.  $50 plus adapter to get down to its input size.
