TUNING DGX-670

Although I have tried to rectify the out of tune state of this instrument, it seems to fall out of tuning after attempts to do this  on more than 4 occasions  in the past 2 weeks since I have had the instrument.

It occurs in the lower and upper octave. My old PSR 950 never had a "tuning " issue. I read somewhere that the remedy was to unplug the instrument completely from it's power source to stop phantom power ??

I like  the instrument and would like to keep it. Anyone else with a similar experience. Do I need to create a registration to save the tuning changes ?

thank you, Tully

Hi Graham, thank you for getting back on this. This is my 3rd Yamaha keyboard previous was the 950. None have had this issue.

I have had both manuals. I have performed at least 2 resets. Play a bit and at some point low B and  High B go off tune. Previously it was the low octave C# .Off enough to be annoyingly off.

I have a call into Yamaha but I expect I will fet a similar response. There are a number of other owners with the same issue .

Tully and thanks again.

Tully.Your Profile does not state where you are...But Yamaha support in the UK are very helpful.

I've never heard of a DGX670 going out of tune (and we sell lots); if doing a reboot doesn't rectify it, then it sounds like a warranty issue. Again, we don't know where you are, but the warranty is 2 years in Canada.
