Help Needed for midi ports

I have installed cubase / n track,  i have tried to import midi however although i can play Audio with sound i cant do the same with midi, no sound when i select input port for midi there appears to be no no compatible midi driver on the pc.
could someone please help, me or give the driver i need i am using windows 10
