Style change bass

Hi. I have a style that when I play C chord the style is normal but when I take C7 then the style takes a bass line. How do you get such a setting?

BodganH has made a few tutorials on this, Chord Variations, and a (free) program for us to achieve it. I've not tried it yet but it's well explained, and I intend to try it.
