early PSR-6000

Hi every one I have been trying to load some of the files. as my PSR-6000 only has a floppy drive. I have been trying to load to and from this. however I have tried to put the files into the 6000 and it say disc not reconised, yet it is the same discs I use to store my own registration form  her, has anyone got any thoughts on this. or have I ended up with the wrong spr after buying and trying seven others, Thanks sn cheers all, Pete
