Adding a Left2 voice and a Right4 voice to a Genos1

Just for fun, I set up my DAW Reaper to enable a second Genos voice in the Lower part of the keyboard and a fourth voice in the Upper part of the keyboard.  The main aim was to enable my left hand to play a Piano/Strings combo, or ElectricPiano/Pad combo, etc.  All works fine, and the use of the Genos instrument definition file in Reaper enables me to select from the Genos voice lists.

My question is:
Does anyone know of a way to access User Voices or Expansion Voices, by presumably specifying their MSB and LSB combinations?  I cannot find anything in the Yamaha Data List documentation, besides the details of the Preset voices.

Thanks.

Ha!  Isn't it always the case that when you finally ask a question, that is precisely the moment Google finds what you are looking for :)

Hi @Chalky,

A small note: In contrast to the PSR-S970, which is discussed in the topic you linked, with Genos1/2 you can of course call up Registrations via MIDI (e.g. to set User Voices for Keyboard parts).

Best regards,
Chris
