EXPANSION EXPLORER App problem with android GSM,when i try to use it the connection is only for 2.4GHz wifi only ?what must i change now and where???

Hi @Speedy1957,

Genos2 (just like Genos1) and the Yamaha UD-WL01 USB WiFi adapter (which is used internally in Genos1/2) is unfortunately only compatible with 2.4 GHz WiFi. This means that 5 GHz WiFi is NOT supported.

If the Genos2 WiFi is operated in Infrastructure Mode, it must be ensured that the 2.4 GHz WiFi network is also switched on in your Router's settings, i.e. that the Router not exclusively works on 5 GHz. The device on which the Expansion Explorer is running (computer or smart device) usually also supports 2.4 GHz WiFi (unless it has been manually deactivated in its WiFi adapter settings).

By the way, you could also operate the Genos2 WiFi in Access Point Mode (and then connect the computer / smart device directly to it). However, then you will not have an Internet connection at the same time (except perhaps via a mobile network), and an Internet connection will be necessary in most cases when using the Expansion Explorer.
