Hello Newbie ? here I have been trying unsuccessfully to download V1.11 to my Mac and it goes directly into my Clean my Mac shredder program. Downloaded and transferred it to a thumb drive this morning from a old Dell only to see( could not be opened, from unidentified developer. Malware warning.

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum, @Logan979!

These are the official download links from Yamaha. These downloads certainly do not contain any malware. It is therefore likely that your "CleanMyMac" app is to blame. I recommend either deactivating this app or setting up an exception for the zip file in question that is being downloaded so that it can be unzipped without hindrance and the .PRG file contained can be copied to a USB stick.

Your "Old Dell" PC is probably also running some third-party security/anti-virus software that is reporting a "false-positive". It should also work here if this software is temporarily deactivated. As I said, the firmware updates downloaded from the links above (zip file and the .PRG file contained in it) are definitely safe.

Best regards,
Chris
