When I plug my SX900 USB stick into a PC, I get a message " There is a Problem With This Drive, Scan the Drive and Fix It"
I have been using this thumb drive for use with the SX900 with files only for the SX-900 for a few years with no problem. It actually works fine on the PC, just curious of the PC "Problem" message. I have not 'scanned and fixed', maybe I should?

Hi,
It happened to me a few times. The issue was the USB port. Try plug the USB into different port or PC.
Thanks, Ted
Note: I did let the PC scanned and fixed once. It turned out OK. Nothing deleted.

I have gotten this message too, and ignored it. I'm worried the PC might "fix" something that the keyboard won't like. Never had a problem ignoring the message.

Cheers,
Fred

Personally I'd back it up, onto another stick, test that 2nd stick out, then repair the first one.

Hi, I get this message every time I connect my Genos to my Windows PC with the USB cable. I then have the drive checked. Most of the time I get the message that everything is OK. Only sometimes the drive is (supposedly) repaired. But nothing is ever lost.

Good to know that no files will be lost if you let the PC repair the thumb drive. But yea we should backup the USB files regularly, especially before 'fixing' a drive
Thanks for all the helpful responses  ;)

I always get this message when plugging in one of my external harddrives, but all is OK, so I ignore it. But to be on the safe side, make a copy of the content!
