Midi Cable Length - SX920 to Computer

I have a 10' Midi Cable that is not long enough to reach from my keyboard to my computer.  What is the longest length MIDI cable any of you have used?  Thank you very much for your assistance

Internet wisdom:

Real MIDI (DIN) cable: 15 meters
USB cable: approx. 5 meters

I use a 3 meter long USB cable.

Hi Diana,

Yamaha states that the USB cable on the USB-to-host terminal should be a maximum of 3 m, but if you use a good cable, 5 m shouldn't be a problem. By the way, a USB 2.0 cable is sufficient; it does not have to be a USB 3 certified cable.

With DIN MIDI cables (5-pin), even 20 - 25 m are usually possible without any problems.
