Hi does anyone know how to freeze the volume position on the sliders? It changes the volume when I switch from one reg to another.

PS I do have the freeze button selected

Thanks for your help

You need to select what things the Freeze button freezes.

The easiest way to get that is to hit the direct access button, then the freeze button.  This will bring up a list where you can check off which item(s) you would like to freeze.  IIRC, the slides fall under "Live Control".  But might be a part of voice, as well.  You might have to experiment to see which one it is.

Maybe it would be easier to save the same volume into both registrations?

Hope this helps!

Voice must be checked. But then the registrations will of course no longer change the voices overall. You probably won't like that.

Thanks Kurt, I didnt think this was possible.

I am find this extreamly dificult to keep the volume levels consistant when moving from diferent registrations. Seems the only way I can do this is by saving every registration with the desired keyboard volume level.Come on Yamaha this is terrible! make the keyboard extreamly dificalt to play live when you are worried that all of a sudden the keyboard volume level changes to 127 and is way too loud.

I have come from a Tyros 5 where there wasnt a keyboard slider volume and this was never an issue before. At the momment I wish I had stuck to the Tyros5 :-(

Thanks
