Hi
I would like to know the best way to save the Keyboard Setting of a Song.
Usually for a Song, I choose the style, one Touch button, tempo, etc. Before playing my Song.
I don't want to record my Song, only the setting.
Play list?, registration? Other way?
Thank you

EileenL

I always use Registration Banks. These can also then be saved in a playlist latter.

As with Eileen.  A registration/s.

Indeed, registration.

I make from every song a registration , all the 8 places for one song.

Save them and the next step is enter the song into the playlist.

I very seldem use registrations. I just modify the style, change OTS, adjust volume and so on. Then give the style the name of the song I will use it for, and that's it!

OK so a Registration is used to set up a song, and saved, then is saved to a playlist.... if that song, now loaded from Playlist, has its registrations changed and saved, is that saved information updated in the Playlist file also? I'm presuming it would be but I could be wrong, maybe the playlist also needs updating?

Interested in the SX720, Playlist is new to me and I'm wondering about how the different features work together.

Thanks

No, the playlist does not need to be updated. A playlist is essentially just a text file with file names (including file paths) of registration banks.

Fantastic, I was hoping that was how it worked. Thanks Kurt 👍
