Hi

Fairly new player and recently upgraded to the SX700, does anyone have a simplified explanation as to how to use registrations?

As an old codger I find it difficult to use the handbook where it flips you from page to page when explaining things

Kind Regards

Hi Jimbo

Take a look at this link, everything is explained.
https://www.psrtutorial.com/lessons/playing/regist/index.html

You can also watch a couple of videos in which I tried to explain how registrations work. (include English subtitles)

Hi Jimbo,

if not done so, first please download ALL manuals from the SX700 download page (at least "Owner's Manual", "Reference Manual" and "Data List"):
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-sx700/downloads.html#product-tabs

Instead of leafing through the printed manual, open BOTH manuals (Owner's Manual and Reference Manual) on your computer at the same time. Now use the search function of your PDF reader (usually Ctrl + F) to find all relevant text passages where a certain search term occurs very quickly. :)

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Many thanks to Ckobu and Chris for that information I will go through all the steps you suggest and hopefully get my registrations started.

Kind Regards and stay safe.

My registration videos are aging, but they still apply to all keyboards. The link is in my signature.
