Would like to see PSRSX620 with chord looper function like just added to PSRSX720.

You would be FAR better off buying either a used or nearly new PSR SX700 or PSR SX900.

You'll find that touch screens on both those models are a major advantage over the SX600.

I would not buy any arranger in this price range without a touch screen
Korg Pa5X /61 Arranger /Workstation
Korg PAAS Mk2 Keyboard Speaker Amp system
Technics SX-PR900 Digital Ensemble Piano
Lenovo M10 Android tablet with Lekato page turner
Roland RH-5 Monitor Headphones

No, it's no far better buying a SX 700 or 900. The existing SX 600 is a very good keyboard for a price , which is unrivaled. The sound quality is very near to the higher priced models. For me the touchscreen is no reason to buy a SX 720, the screen of the SX 600 is tiny, but good readable. You can work very quickly with the buttons and you don't have fingerprints on the screen. My whishes for the upcoming SX 620 are a chord looper, a larger screen and a Din Midi port.

More important over touch screen is a keybed. Hopefully sx620 is going to keep its keybed from sx600 (tested and in use by Yamaha for 30 years) Sx700 and the new 720 and 920 have newly developed keybed that ended up rattling after the silicone grease was used up. Yamaha acknowledge the problem but never offered a solution marking it as a normal wear. New FSB keybed had the plastic joint moved further back with the idea it would offer premium feel of long hinged keybed. Ended up with unstable keys hittin the lateral stabilisers producing parasitic noise. Unfortunately sx 720 and 920 kept this faulty keybed beeing somewhat more evenly greased than previous generation. Let's pray that the new sx620 doesn't get FSB keybed upgrade.

Totally agree with you Zukae. I still have SX600 and I bought SX720. Keys are terrible. After 10 days of use keys started to be noisy, clicky and wobble, I could not believe. Fsb is terrible. On my Sx600 I do not have those problems with keys. I returned Sx720 and I got my money back. I was so happy to buy it but I was really so disappointed with Sx720. I just hope that Sx620 do not have Fsb keybed or I will not buy it definitely. They should improve keys on both sx720/sx920, that fsb keybed used on them is awful.

What about PSR-A oriental keyboards? If a future PSR-A model will have that problem... I guess not to bite the bullet and buy it. I mean not to buy it at this stage.
Past Yamaha keyboards that I now don't use: PSR-S710, PSR-A2000
Current Yamaha keyboard I use: PSR-A3000
Next, or future, Yamaha keyboard I will use: PSR-A5000

I mean, the video is *called* PSRsx620 predictions; as in he's giving us his best guess, nothing more.

My (educated) guess was that it'll launch a year after the sx920/sx720, as that has been the pattern for a while now. So when the sx720/sx920 launched, I expected fall of 2025, and I still do.

I think that too as well. i also predict that it will have at least the same chipset as the sx700, plus they could go a step furthur and do all the vocal sounds insted of just the oohs ans aahs, that's my guess for the onboard voices that will come onboard,

Actually, yes, I also assumed based off the sx700/PSRs970 (same sound library); and since I'm *not* expecting touchscreen, I'm expecting it to be more like the s970 (2 layers, no touch screen), probably with a built in pack like the sx600 (it has a latin/brazil pack pre-installed)

But again, only educated guesses. (I'm allowed to speculate while still guessing, but once I do I can't say anything anyway).

i think that too i mainy think it will look just liike the sx600 same body style but with the updated sound library they can also add a few extra voices too like Live! BeeVibrato, And S-Art! AccompOoh

My predictions for PSR-SX620

- Revamped and completely new design, no longer copied from the PSR-S670

- Voice collections are at least equivalent to the PSR-SX700. I also expect the Revo Drums to appear in SX620 as Live Drums , just like the SX720

- Updated arrangements for existing styles, like those seen in the Genos2 and SX920

- Expanded World content (Indonesian, Brazilian, Chinese, Latin etc) as presets instead of expansion packs.

-Anime / Video Game inspired styles on Movie & Show category, to appeal for younger players interested at anime and video games.

- Super Articulation buttons

- Additions of Chord Looper (from SX720) and Motion Effects (from E473)

- Event editor mode on song recording/style creator (I don't expect much on this)

- At least 400MB of expansion memory and 1GB built-in storage

- Display size remains the same, maybe now with extra buttons on the left & right side

- FSB keyboard action, replacing the PSR-E style keyboard seen on SX600 and S670

- Tweeters (previous 6 series have no tweeters)

- Accessible XG/GM voices , no longer hidden like all the previous SX keyboards
