Hello Friends,

I have had this issue with my keyboard from Day 1 but I thought it will get resolved with updating the keyboard but it is not going away. Basically, the issue is if I have a multiple layered sounds i.e. Right 1, Right 2 and Right 3, sometimes you don't hear them well (muted sound) unless you turn the Right 3 off. Then if I go and reset the keyboard from the utility menu and come back it will play just fine with all turned on for a while and then it will happen again. So I have to either have only Right 1 and Right 2 or keep resetting the keyboard.

Any idea what could be the issue?

Hi Amir,

The behavior you describe is due to the current Split Point settings. Please call up the Split Point display (e.g. by pressing "Direct Access > ACMP) and make sure that the Right3 Split Point is set exactly 1 semitone higher than the Left Split Point. This is the only way to play all three Right Parts at the same time (layered).

By the way, the current split points are always saved automatically when you create or save registrations (Left split point with the STYLE box, Right3 split point with the VOICE box). I suspect that one or more existing Registrations are unintentionally changing your Right3 Split Point setting. To avoid this in the future, you would either have to change the SP settings for these Registrations (and then of course re-save the relevant Registration Bank), or you could set the split points as desired once and then check "Split Points" under "Menu > Parameter Lock" to permanently lock these settings.
