Special request for style

I am fascinated with Joe Sample's rendition of Respect Yourself but can't figure out if I can duplicate the chords on the Genos. Here is the Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login. Would love to do it this way!

Great tune! Amazing what Joe Sample can do with it.

I started messing around with it on Genos. With the arrangement that I have, the verse sits on Bmin7 and the chorus goes to F#7. That's pretty much it!

Style-wise, believe it or not, the R&B Motor City style has the right "blow burn" kind of attitude. The default tempo is just about right, too, for a good interpretation.

Yamaha Musicsoft had an old style -- MemphisSoul -- which would be a decent fit. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available any more.
