Drum roll (Fill-in) when switching to another Main Variation

Good afternoon, I have a PRS-SX700 and I can't understand why when I use different styles by pressing with my finger on Main Variation (A,B,C,D) I get a drum roll when I make a change.

If I use Registration Memory to make these changes with Pedal, that drum roll doesn't sound.
Any ideas?

Thank you very much

Hi @farrio,

If the "AUTO FILL IN" button (locatad below the OTS LINK button) is switched ON (constantly lit), the Fill-in of the target Main Variation is automatically played first when switching to another Main Variation. If "AUTO FILL IN" is switched OFF (button not lit), the new Main Variation is played directly. To play a Fill-in anyway (with "AUTO FILL IN" OFF), you either press the button of the current Main Variation again and then immediately press the button of the new Main Variation, or you press the button of the new Main Variation twice.

With Registrations, it depends on how (in which status) a Main Variation is memorized: If the relevant Main Variation button (when the style is stopped) lights constantly and you memorize this status in the Reg, the Main Variation will be played directly later, i.e. WITHOUT a Fill-in. If the Main Variation button (when the style is stopped) flashes (by pressing it a second time) and you memorize this status in the Reg, a Fill-in is played first and then the relevant Main Variation is played.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
