Audio problem

A warm greeting and everyone and apologise for the use of the translator. I would like to share with you a problem that I cannot solve. For some time now I have been playing in clubs and squares. For the locals I have no problems. but with the Squares all the programming work is without balance. The sound coming out of my Maui 5 is really messy. Bass too present? Submerged battery from the other instruments ... And yet when I prepare the material I use the same Maui 5 and everything sounds balanced, outdoors instead everything is pretty bad to listen to. Do you have any advice to suggest?

Are you using single (mono) Maui 5 or two of them (stereo)?
Arranger keyboard is a multi-voice instrument and if you use only mono speaker outdoor, then that can sound quite dull. That's less of a problem if you play indoor, because walls and interior is helping you with sound reflections -that is, sound is bouncing from sides and ceiling. If you play outdoor, then sound only comes from single spot.

Thank you for getting back to me. I confirm that I use two Maui 5.

I use one Maui 5 and play outside occasionally and I have no issues.

The one thing I always do is make sure my music is balance, I record every one of my arrangement using the keyboard's WAV recorder. I then play that WAV and listen to it to make my adjustments to the style and the OTS I use with it. I repeat this step until it sounds correct.

I do this to insure that when I perform the song live with the style everything is going to be balanced.

Mine also sound very good as long as I stay inside my studio, but when I play outside it would seem that they do not hold the increase in volume and everything becomes very confusing and loses the balance I have reached inside. Your idea of recording songs seems good to me, but you can only do it for someone. I'm preparing a series of shows and in all there are over 200 tracks and I can't start doing it for every single song. Surely the speakers require a different equalisation externally, but unfortunately in this way all the settings thought inside no longer work or work less well. Perhaps by using neutral speakers I could achieve different results.

Making a decent sound stage in outdoor is extremely difficult. In this case area that you wish to cover with sound greatly influences the result.
Maui 5 specifications are quite scarce (as is usually the case nowadays) and so it's hard to predict what you will get. For example:

Let's say, that you wish listener would get loudness (SPL actually) of 92dB at distance of 5 meters -which is not really that loud. Now let's assume that your Maui has sensitivity of about 86dB/1W/1m (I'm quite sure that it doesn't have more). To achieve that loudness, the power of 200W is required and that's all what Maui can deliver (forget that peak power fuss).
However to achieve the same loudness for listeners at distance of 10m, the power of 800W is needed!

Keep in mind that most of that power is required for bass frequency range and in my opinion an 8" woofer just can't do such a job. Indoor that's a less of the problem because sound is bounced back to audience from walls and ceiling.
I see Maui 5 as an indoor PA speaker.

Well, how big of an outdoor area are we talking about?

I know the Maui 5 will cover a half acre outside.

Look, I tried both outdoor environments not too large up to the rather important squares. The sound quality deteriorates in both cases. It remains good as long as I play inside the room but for strangers I think Prima's colleague is right who claims that this type of amplification is not suitable.
