My username is RayClem. I have resided in the Chicagoland Metro area for 25 years.  I have been retired for 10 years. I have been an amateur musician for all of my life. I joined this forum as I recently purchased a Genos2 and am enjoying it immensely. Being retired, I have several hours a day to explore the keyboard. My first exposure to Yamaha arranger keyboards was the PSR520 from the 90s. I also have a Yamaha digital piano with even more voices than the PSR.
.
I also have a small home studio with capability of recording midi, vocals, guitar and bass guitar.  My primary DAW is Acoustica Mixcraft, but I also use Ableton Live Intro and Studio One Artist. For heavy midi editing and score notation I use Forte Notation,.

In my younger years I played piano, Hammond organ,  pipe organ, saxophone, and drums.  I love the ability of using Genos2 to play all of these instruments and so much more. I know many Genos2 owners love the  numerous styles built in, but I like devising my own harmonies and beats. It helps keep my gands and my mind active as I age.

I have learned a lot from this forum as a guest. I hope to learn even more as a member.
