Metronome with SX 900

Is there a way to hear the metronome in real time, while recording to a DAW, and not have it coming out the line outs with the voices played?  Or, might the metronome be heard through the internal speakers, but blocked from the line outs that are going to my recording interface?  Might need a standalone metronome.
