Hi,
sx700. Cannot get registration sequence pedals to work.

Used it a couple of months ago and it worked ok.

Now, everything sets up ok, but pedal will not move sequence.

Pedals work globally.

Any ideas please.

Regards Terry

Hi Terry

Two things to remember
1 The sequence has to be manually setup
2 the sequence feature has to be activated otherwise the pedals will simply move up and down progressively.

You need to turn the sequencer on, and specify which pedal advances the sequence. All in the registration sequencer menu.

Hi Bill & Fred,
Thank you for your replies.

Could I just run through what I am doing.
First select REG BANK >REG SEQUENCE >PEDAL 1 + > PEDAL 2 - > press REG 1 > INSERT > press REG 2 > INSERT and so on.
Change STOP to TOP > SEQUENCE ON > SAVE. Have tried SEQUENCE OFF before save, makes no difference.

That is as far as I get. Pedals will not move the sequence. Have made SYSTEM RESET. Have also started with blank registration and made
fresh settings.
Am I missing something !

I am starting to think the keyboard has a fault.

Thanks again Bill & Fred.
Regards Terry.

Hi Terry

I can only think of two things.

1. You are not saving the sequence correctly. You need to tap the HD Icon with Down arrow above it (to the RH side of the registration me and go through the save procedure.
2. You need to exit from the setup screen. It does not work when in the setup mode.

If you are sure you are doing it correctly, try going into Registration Sequence via the Main Menu button and turn on the sequence. Try your registrations again.

Hi Bill,
You are a saviour.
I was still in setup screen each time I tried it.

It now works perfectly.

Thank you so much for your help. It is really appreciated.

Take care,
Terry.
