Greetings!

If there has been one thing that constantly bugs me about Tyros and Genos, is why is the harmony button is on the right side of the keyboard instead of on the left by the style controls. I find the button on the right an inconvenience since my left hand is better suited for harmony initiation since it isn't as busy as my melody hand. Yes.......I know all about the assignable buttons and I assigned harmony to the left bank buttons on Genos1 and loved it that way. I could also use a foot pedal to initiate harmony. But I prefer not to.

On Genos2 I can't assign the assignable 3 button to work correctly as on Genos1. On Genos2 when I "assign" harmony it goes to the harmony type selection screen instead of the already assigned harmony type. Whatever harmony type is in the styles OTS is what I want that button to immediately go too. This should be possible, correct??  Thanks.  -charley

Button three is assigned to rotary speakers on/off when using certain organs. I have always used a pedal and found it much easier to bring on and off when playing If I only need harmony on a couple of bars.

Hi Charley,

I don't see your problem here: If you assign the "Kbd Harmony/Arpeggio On/Off" function to an Assignable Button, e.g. #3 on the left, (found in the "Voice" Category), this button behaves exactly the same way like the [HARMONY/ARPEGGIO] panel button. See also the attached screenshot.

Please check again whether you have really assigned the function mentioned above.

Best regards,
Chris
