Genos & Genos2 StyleFinder for Windows (Dot.Net 4.8)

Here's the Genos & Genos2 version of StyleFinder. A tool to search for styles by (part of the)name, measure or tempo.
For the Genos2 it contains all the 800 default styles in 15 categories and as an extra the Genos Complete pack. 911 Styles in total.

Apart from that I've made some other changes:
A style-counter at each category and you can browse through the categories with the up- and down cursor, the tabs via left and right.


Because of the new multiple page structure (the max number of default style-tabs/pages was 5 @ the Genos) I had to change my programming-code quite drastically. The number of lines went up from 884 to 1377 1457 (the style-lists not included)! But it was fun to hobby-code again

Update Feb18'24: StyleFinder 1.5 is here! It now contains both lists of Genos and Genos2 (you can switch between instruments by clicking the Genos(2) logo). and a Comment search is added. The version is jumped from 1.0 to 1.5 to catch up with the original StyleFinder for Genos(1).

Found a few tiny little bugs, fixed in 1.0.1 (also the English manual missed the 2 in Genos2 stylefinder  ).

Just tried it out. Nice one Bert. It will come in very handy when style searching for a new song. It's going to save a lot of time. If only Yamaha provided this search facility on the Genos so we could search across all the styles we each have available.

Is there any chance you could include Style Characteristics - Session and Free Play? Combining two or three elements would also be useful so searches could be done on tempo and measure for example.

Thanks Tony. I will add DJ, Session and Free Play in a 'Comment' category. Combining things might appear later, have to figure out if that's doable.

@lacobo Thank you for your great job with IconFinder and StyleFinder.

Although they are very useful, I find that "simple" Excel file, which could be opened even on smartphone would be great for everyone. Also including every Yamaha Pack they ever get for us (even those not yet "converted" for GENOS 2 (generally speaking - they are working on GENOS 2 - not perfectly, but with some tweaks, we can save those style as a new one in internal memory or USB stick to be used regullarly).

I suppose you have got some sort of digital list of all these styles you get into your program. May I ask you to share it with me for my project? It will be very helpful for me to create Excel file of every Yamaha style EVER for GENOS 2 users, with default tempo and measurements. Using Excel filters or/and pivot table we will have a useful and powerful tool for searching our styles and accessible literally: always.
