Hi everyone, this is my first genos and I'm experiencing "muffled/muddy"sound when outputting to a PA system (Bose S1). Is anyone experiencing this as well? My workflow is as follows...

1) Connect "Main (L/L+R)" using TS cable into Stereo Radial DI Box (L)
2) Connect Radial DI Box (XLR cable) into Bose S1
3) Equalizer is set to flat on the Genos and compressor is turned off

The reason I said muffled/muddy is because when I listen though the earphones (beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO) it sounds very clear and also I've been using these headphones to adjust the sound (just adding reverb).

I'm connected through a Radial DI Box because I have ground noise issue at my house.

Mmm.. difficult to say. First: how are your ears ( meaning does it sounds muddy to another person too?). Changing the EQ  and Compr., does that result in a wanted balance? And how it sounds without the DI box, in case the hights and mids? Are the setup of the Bose speakers right done?
My best regards,
Ton

Check all your cables and jackplugs for wear and tear. Lightly and gently bend and twist them to check for shorting within the cables.
Are the cables the correct cables, are the jackplugs the correct ones.

Recently we had a problem which turned out to be incorrect jackplugs which had 4 bands on them (apparently Apple use these....but then, they would! )
You must have Normal 2 band stereo jackplugs for Yamaha keyboards.

Might help, good luck.

Keith.
