Hello,
I want to trigger audio multipads so that it starts exactly on the first beat of a bar. I know how to automatically trigger an audio multipad as soon as you call up a registration. The problem is that the audio file doesn't always start on the first beat, but exactly when I call up the registration.

Frank, a German Genos user, described some time ago how to start an audio multipad exactly on the first beat of a bar. But this doesn't seem to work with Genos 2 (I've already sold my Genos 1). To do this, you have to edit a normal Multipad file (file extension .pad) with a MIDI editor so that it contains parts from the audio Multipad file (file extension .pd2). But even with this trick, the audio multipad on the G2 is always triggered immediately. It is described here (unfortunately only in German):

Has anyone ever tried this with the Genos 2 or has a tip as to what I might be doing wrong?

The multipad you start with has to be a repeating one.
Only repeating multipads will start at the first beat.
A non repeating multipad starts directly by the push of the multipad button.

If plan A doesn't work, don't forget that the alphabet has 25 more letters.

Many thanks Etienne, I'll try that out and report back.
