How to start chords playing at the beginning of a song

I'm creating lead sheets for myself in Dorico, exported in XF format by Notation Composer 4, and I noticed that chords never start playing when I play the first note.  The chords start playing on the second measure, even if there are chords in the first measure.  If you have the same problem you can fix it by editing the MIDI song in Multi Recording, select step edit, press Ch.1 to change the display to Sy***, then cut/paste the line containing the chord as illustrated in the attachment to this post.

When you make your lead sheet in Dorico or any other app (I use MuseScore and/or Sibelius 6), you should leave the first measure EMPTY = No notes and no chords.
Inspecting Yamaha midi files, you will find out that the first measure never includes note events.
The first measure contains all the settings for the song (voices, sy***, Song name, ...).

For making the measure numbers equal in the lead sheet and the keyboard (screen), you can insert a Score Start Bar = 2 and a Quickstart (sy***) at the beginning of the midi file (000:1:0000).
Score Start Bar = 2 makes the first measure on the screen number 2.
Quickstart -> loads the first measure when loading the midi file (initializes all song settings).

This can be done in a program like MixMaster    https://psrtutorial.com/MB/EV_Files/mixmaster.html
I don't know if it can be inserted in Step Edit on the keyboard itself.

If plan A doesn't work, don't forget that the alphabet has 25 more letters.
