Hi!
When I start my Genos2 it always starts with the TrowbackPop style. Is it possible to change this, so it starts with the style I want? Another one. There is a lot of "touching" on the screen, it is best to put on a screen protector? Thanks!

It s not possible to change this in the keyboard, but many people make a setup registration, saving the style and other things you want to start with. Then you just turn on the keyboard, press the reg butten where you saved your setup reg, and you are good to go😀

The screen on Genos is very good and dose not need a screen saver but it is up to the individual to choose.

1. I don't think Yamaha provide a way to change the default style when you power on the keyboard. Korg PA5X have this option for both players. However, the last registration bank before powering off is loaded, so keep in mind to set a reg. bank before power off and it will be there on power on. You press the desire reg number and that's it.

For the second question, Genos1 and same on Genos2, owner manual, page 41. Panel lock

Vali

Hi!
Thanks to all. I'm learning as I go. I guess I have to live with a bit of frustration after gigging with the PA4X almost since it came out. I have used a screen protector on the Korg, but I don't know if it would have been necessary. But I like the Genos2 very much, I find style editing easier on the Korg, but that may be because the Genos2 OS is new to me. I am very grateful for the help I get on this forum. Thanks!
