Instruments used in midi file

I am looking for a program that allows you to see at a glance which instruments are used in a midi file. Does anyone know such a program?

I use SynthFont to do this. Available here:http://www.synthfont.com/ for free.
With this program which works with Soundfonts you can see the instruments used and even remove instruments or change instruments or mute the melody channel. After that you can save the midi and,for instance, use it as a backing track.
