Favorite Sounds

I'm unable to add selected sounds from expansions to the favorites. Perhaps that's Yamahas feature? 😋

A turnaround can be save the selected voices from expansion pack, after "editing" them (eg. slightly change a parameter, or even the name of the voice) to the "User" section.
Then you can add the "user" voice (which is exactly the same voice from expansion pack) to Favorites.

Of course there is the limitation than you must have the expansion loaded in order for this "favorite voice" to work, even if it now saved as a "user voice".

I hope this turn around fit your workflow and solve your problem.

PS. Suggest always as a solution "save it to registration" is not viable... Not all users has the same workflow. It is not always the best solution. Furthermore if you always use registrations for everything, finally you will end up with 1000's of registrations totally useless, since you will need considerable time in order to browse or search what you're looking for...

Exactly right and to the point... Different workflows is right. As much as I like regs I'm slowly starting to hate them too... They just keep on adding .... I tried solving organization a bit using playlist but again, ... No search function is available there.

Btw, I have tried already what you suggested, it's just another workaround unfortunately 🤷😐
