SX700 .rgt-files on USB stick are "not properly loaded" on Genos and Genos2

I am using 2 SX700's ( on 2 locations). I transferred all Voices, Styles, Registrations to a USB stick and can play with it on both SX700's.

I tried this USB stick in a Genos and a Genos2. I can see the directories and files on the stick but when I try to select and load a .rgt-file the message "not properly loaded" appears.

Any idea how to make this work without converting data?

Thanks for help!

The only way that I know of is to use Murray Best's Registration Manager in batch mode.

Most keyboards do not read other registrations. You need to convert them first.

Genos and Genos2 use different voices that you have not got on the S Series.

Stated a different way, the SX700 and Genos series have very different features. These features are configured by the bits and bytes in the registration files. The registration data (file) formats are not the same or upward compatible.

As folks mentioned, Murray Best's Registration Manager is a good and appropriate tool.

That's life, sorry -- pj

Thank you all very much for your answers. It is now clear for me that there is no easy solution for this problem and that there is only one direction that I can choose. Very helpful!
